so as some of you might know i bought a second truck just cause it was a good deal.

it is a 2007 classic silverado with only 177k km's, that is 110k miles.

it has a fully loaded limited edition gfx package i think its pretty cool and also limited to Canada.

plans for the near future are:

-remove steps
-tint
-de-mold
-de-badge
-clear heads
-level
-33" tires on current LTZ wheels
-paint match bow tie
-cut exhaust and add 4" rolled tip
-some performance muffler

here is some pics:

lets please keep this thread a little more focused on the truck and less focused on my life choices.

thanks,

what exactly is GFX? but looks nice, could be a clean simple trok

gfx is a Canadian company that makes packages for gm trucks, dealers hire them to install such packages on the trucks.

on my truck it consists of fake carbon fiber dash pieces (ill probably paint black at some point) and as seen in the picture a stitching in the head rest and a dash overlay.

on newer trucks it gets stickers and a whole new interior most of the time.

thanks for the compliment :shake:

Whys it have a glow plug.light on the cluster? Also time to make lmm race truck.

It's the SES light?

Marc, this is a really nice ass find and plans sound tits too. I love the older Texas edition wheels. Would CM handles, mirror caps, remove lower valance and done. :shake:

Literally my dream truck. Would straight trade for it tbh. Every single option and want I have for a truck, minus some miles.

thanks guys, i put the truck in my name today.

put a few miles on it driving for work, there is a little heat shield rattle at WOT but besides that i feel like its pretty quick.

it definitely drives better then my old 2003 silverado i had before maybe since it has dual electric fans it makes a difference in power?

and to be honest i really want to sell lmm.

also just spent 3 hours on the interior vacuumed cleaned everything treated the leather and cleaned the carpet.

tomorrow is engine bay detail time including a new belt and oil change.

will also be changing transmission filter and fluids and front and rear diff and transfer case soon.

then bring it somewhere for coolant flush and shell be good to go for another few hundred miles.

i think it is because the gfx company ordered the same overlay as they would use on the diesel gfx trucks  just a guess.

I want it. So bad. Thank God someone with bad taste didn't get it. Should look good if you do end up keeping it

Wouldn't the diesel trucks have a different tach and trans temp though?
