Haven't been very active on here & I've been needing to make a build thread so to start it off... I Received this truck at the beginning of my sophomore year. Nothing special to a lot of people but for me, as ugly as it was I thought it was pretty cool truck with a lot of potential. I got it with I just over 85,000 miles. Overall I just wanted a clean a simple truck with a small cam and converter. Performance would've been nice, but with the combination of this trucking being a 4x4, & having a 4l60e. I've decided to leave most of the performance side of things alone. The truck might get a intake and tune down the road but for now I'm wanting something clean and comfy to help haul parts while building something else. I started off slow being on a high school kids budget and funding other things.

The first mods were removing all the chrome, removing nerf bars, and taking off the bedcover. Then I got into a lil car audio with a sub and box that I got for free from a family. A buddy of mine help with a install, having the amps hidden behind the seat. In the process I got into a minor wreck and did a little de-badging/color matching and some esky handles

Personally wouldn't have done 420s on a lifted/leveled truck but those ions look sweet. Some push through caps like Ryan had on his 962s would complete them imo.

Thanks man I got them on here in the classifieds lol. I did 420's because I liked the tread pattern, they were cheap, & I was wanting to turbo the truck. With recent trans issues and me going to college in a few months I've decided against it, as it's my daily.

That looks dope, whats up with the front bumper?
The corners look pushed up to me, may just be the pics or my mind

I hit a big Boulder on the drivers side so that sides twisted. I Bought an hd front end here recently. Just need to get it painted and swapped on.

HD clips will really set it off with the step side. I actually don't mind the 420's at all on this truck. Keep it up!

Thanks guys!
I say CM bumper plastics and front plastics minus the valance. Leave bumpers chrome to tie into the wheels and handles.

& the only problem with that is I bought a black bumper but so I could get It painted lol

stock step sides are :puke: but your truck definitely looks good. also i love the wheel and tire combo...wonder if they come in an 8 bolt.... also why did you get rid of the bed cover?

Thanks man! I actually tossed the idea around about changing it but I decided not to I like the truck being a lil different. As fR as wheels I'm not sure if I wouldn't have gotten them cheap they wouldn't be on the truck. They're pricey new & with the bed cover it needs to be resprayed & I sometimes throw my dirt bike in the back.
