Chrysler Pulley puller worked great btw...

Old lifters with beside the new LS7 lifters...(stopped taking pics after this lol)

I stopped after this because I do not have a dowel in my new camshaft, so I am taking my stock one to the machine shop in the morning to see if they can get it out and put in my new one. OR just see if he has an extra laying around.....

Oh and last but certainly not least:

UPDATES:

Well I would like to say the morning started off great, but... Work started calling at 4:30 this morning. So, I went to drop off my cam to machine shop and went and saw gpa. Got the cam and headed to work on it after lunch and counted all the lifters (yeah, I know should have done that before I took the cam out) and this is what I found:

Decided eh, that's easy enough just grab it and take it out right? WRONG...it fell... So I decided to take the valley cover off and try a magnet pin...
Sorry no pic of cover off this was pre taking it off:

Got it out with a big magnetic pen

Fast forward to this afternoon:

Any requests on seeing anything beyond this point? I will try to take more, you just forget when you are in the zone :rofljest:

Well, made some progress just like some wiring, routing coolant lines, and fabbing a bracket for the cooler.

Well of course this summer I had the dreadful high IATs so I decided to do a few more mods:

New vs Old:

While I was changing this out I figured it would be a good time to install the J-tube and TB:

New tube on left and yes the one on the right is actually ported to a 90mm:

And this is what I get for buying used TB:

So I bought a new LS3 after confirming it was my TB:

With all that and the new tires and Assassin traction bars put on I was able to get traction! Well with the added traction made the 4l60 finally give up... So now I will be updating this thread on my 4l80 swap. :guns:

WELL, got the tranny and the lines...slowly getting all the parts together, waiting on the shipment from GMPD (converter bolts, new transmission mount, shift cable bracket). I am still looking for a dust cover, dipstick tube, flexplate and spacer. Oh and last but definitely not least a converter.

It's not cheating it's the competitive edge!

Well got the ARP torque converter bolts in and things went much smoother with them. I recommend getting nothing but ARPs when doing this conversion with the FTI converter. If you try to use stock verter bolts the nipple will bottom out and will be too long.

Before- using stockers:

After- using ARPs:

I didn't want to do the hack job to my slip yoke so I took it to a local machine shop. Not too shabby for $25 if I don't say so myself.

Even polished it up for me:

Cross-member cost me $70 to have cut and welded:

And don't make fun of my blue wire loom, it was all I could find at the time.

Got bored while waiting on parts coming in, being machined, and welded so I painted my drive shaft...

I broke my damn 4l80 dipstick tube so I bought a Lokar and am waiting on that to come in... I must say the dipstick was the most pain in the ass of this whole thing for me...and I've ran into several problems.

nice work

can tell us about the part number for the pulley and in any website we can found it ?
