So now that you know a little about the truck and what's been done I'll move onto the future mods. Currently there isn't much. I'm going to do a new exhaust set up and see what happens from there. I'm sure there will be more as time goes on but for now I'm extremely happy with they way it sits. I also want to get rid of the chrome on the rear bumper and have it white to match the rest of the truck a little better.

Here are some shots of the truck after I first purchased it on New Years Eve. It was a great way to begin the new year with a new truck. I bought it used with 25k miles on it. The prior owner had it for just over a year and a half before trading it in for a 2500 that suited his needs better. The truck was immaculate and I got a great deal on it. I would have preferred black leather, but for the price and conditions I couldn't let that hold me up.

2 days after I picked her up my buddy and I loaded up the sleds and took the truck on a trip up to Old Forge, NY.

Once I had everything I dropped off the truck with Dan at Innovative Truck Design in Stratford, CT. He was recommended from a member over on the Adam's Forum and I couldn't be happier with the work he did. Very high quality and made sure everything was done right. Below is a link to their Facebook page if anyone is interested or just want to "LIKE" the page.

I got the truck back last Friday and have been enjoying every minute of it. The suspension rides amazing and I was really surprised with how well the rear end rode as well. I figured it would have some of that hop or chatter with no real weight in the back and only being on the blocks, but with the Bilstiens it rides so much better than stock all around.

The only issue is the lights on the AMP steps are not working. We've ran thru everything and the only thing it can be is the control module (brain) that's connected up near the battery. We've already been in touch with AMP and they will be sending out a new one soon.

Now on to some photos.....

Thanks for checking out my thread. I'll continue to update this as I add on the few remaining items and keep some phots coming as well.

I guess I can update this with some progress. Here's a list of what's been done recently.

-Magnaflow exhaust
-Removed the Silverado badges
-Raised the front to 8
-Cleared headlamps
-6k HIDs in the lows and fogs
-Switched my DRLs to run on my fogs
-Purchased, painted and installed new color matched rear bumper
-Installed 20" LED lightbar in the front bumper

......and built my son a custom lifted Radio Flyer (he's only a month old but rolling with Daddy in style)

What's next....

I'm ordering some 20x10 black Method Standards with a currently undecided 35" tires for my winter set up. This way the AFs stay away from the winter harm here in CT.

And I may just go ahead and do a 50" LED lightbar on the roof soon.

Dat zr1 :datass: truck looks great..I personally say dont do the light bar on the roof as I think they look kinda corny but love everything else..that wagon is badass

Badass truck dude! :turbohump: I'd go with machined Methods, they look better on white than black, just IMO. I think a light bar on the roof would look awesome, I vote for some colormatched tow mirrors too

Thanks guys!

I love the machined but I know the salt in the winter will thrash them which is why I don't want to run my AFs. The matte black will be good.........hopefully.

hey man i was thinking about doing the same thing to my front end with the light bar, just need the other piece that has the whole in it sice mine doesnt. id suggest some time of all terrain tire vs. a mud for the winter. i run the BFG AT, but was hoping to get the goodyear duratracs or maybe the toyo/nitto all terrain.
