I've done some research but haven't had any luck. I'm slowly gathering parts for my next parts go-around. Looking to step up to bigger injectors and can get a set of LS3 42lb injectors for $125. I need to know if these ls3 injectors will work on a TBSS intake on stock 99-02 fuel rails which I'll be modifying. I know I need to change to the ev6 injector connectors which is not big deal. What's the best place to get those?
Should I get the 42lb marine injectors instead?
It's a 2000 half ton with an lq4 with a tbss intake.

Can't recall height difference between ls2 & ls3 injectors. If they are shorter than ls2 then you'll need to get some top-hat adapters for increased height then make corresponding height brackets for fuel rail to match much taller overall injector height.

If the ls3s are already taller than ls2s then you just need to use some longer bolts and washers as small spacers xfor fuel rail mounts. (I'm doubting height difference would be significant enough to warrant actual custom brackets.

FIC and ID make top hat adapters. I have some of the FICs, I think they were $75, pm them on ptnet. And they come with all upper orings you should need, but bottom orings will be another story.

Also I think the harness pigtails I used I got from Racetronix. Just make sure you're decent at soldering and use plenty of shrink wrap!

I believe even if you get 8.1 marines you'll have to space up your TBSS fuel rail (I still think round truck rail looks better BTW!). Wasn't TBSS setup with ls2 injectors, not truck style?
Your plugs will be direct though.

The ls3 injectors are taller than stocks. I just used washers and stock bolts. Then adapter harnesses.
