Gmc hd hood?

I was wondering if it was possible to fit a hd hood on a 2007 Sierra classic?

yes, you have to us a 99-02 Silvy hood, and mod it to fit over your GMC lights though.

Yes, there are a few members here who have or had an HD hood on a Sierra. And yes, it needs to be trimmed, prepped and painted.

Oh okayy! Curious question if I change the headlights from a 01 silvy to my Sierra would that work?

Interesting theory... If they would mount up it might, but I'd be worried that that headlight mounts are different sizes.

NO, that will not address anything! You WILL have to instal hood, trim to fit the curves of the lights, prep and paint. Don't try to cut corners or it will look like dog shit!

Dont use sily lights, will look terrible.

Trim, then roll the lip. Prep it and send it off to a body shop. Conservatively depending on how much prep you do/cost of hood your going to be in the $1000+ range....

i got my hd hood just waiting to repair it. may just wait until i paint the whole truck to put it on. not sure yet tho.
