I got my 2009 Silverado z71 LT2 with the 5.3 used about a year and a couple months ago.

When I first got it:

CCM+painted wheels. Do not paint your wheels...mine look like shit after 15k miles

Then the Zone 3" BL, Umberto's old grille guard, and tows

Now the Fabtech 7" +Zone BL...still have to finish the rear. Decided to not run the AAL, but instead only the block and new rancho shocks.

Getting 35s, new wheels, and linex'd nfabs next week. Next up is finish the debadge, demold, and remove the splash guards, as well as some other minor cosmetic mods like antenna delete. I need to paint the frame and control arms as well. After that, regearing to 4.88s and truetrac. Then need to decide either between coilovers, piggybacks for the rears, and a set of deavers, or a custom fabbed swing out tire carrier and kayak/fishing rack for the tailgate and bed of the truck.

Haha ya you either hate it or love it (the GG). It will look a lot better after I get my kayak rack/tire carrier fabbed up.

Just waiting on the tires/wheels now...

Yeah like Jared said the grille guard just seems like it overwhelms the truck in the pictures but will look much better im sure with the new tread.

Oh yea and full GMFS treatment coming. splash guards and silverado badging already off. Molding and z71 decal coming off sunday. Trying to get my hands on a set of silver birch handles and tailgate handle/bezel now. Gotta also clear my headlights at some point.

Think I'm gonna leave the tows black to match with the GG and new black wheels.

49" front 47" rear with 700 lbs in bed. getting colormatched handles/tailgate bezel as we speak. Finish debadge/demold this weekend!
