Well buddy is selling his truck this week. Hes been 13.6 in the 1/4 which is damn close to my goal of mid to low 13s.

White truck: 10' ext cab sierra. EPS truck torque level 2 cam, 3200 stall, 6l80e trans, 3:42 gears. factory 799 heads, factory 90mm intake.
truck has been 13.6s in the 1/4 on radials with a 2.2 60'

My truck (camera truck):eps truck torque level 3 cam, 4000 yank, 799 worked heads, nnbs 90mm manifold, 4:10s, true trac, still untuned.

after a failed 15 roll (both spun) we went with a 30 roll and we lifted at 90mph due to him having a single piece drive shaft.

He launched in Manual 1st gear, i launched in drive still spun a tad but overall a great run! He got the jump and i did not pull a lick on him until the very end.

Judging by his time, 60', and this race.... My truck will be very capable of low 13s with a tune, radials, and given i hook at the track.

i think he got you because he was in a better gear to start a 30 roll but both seem to be pretty quick
 
yea he launched in first, mine was in D so i had to downshift.
So deff he busted me on the jump but we were pretty even. At the very end you will notice i pulled him but we lifted right after.


Overall damn good race!

Meh it's a 6 speed so it stays in power very well.
But yes for his mods.... He's put up very good numbers. If he ran a worth a shit converter and got his 60' time down it would run low 13s

I did I started pull hard at the very end of the video when he hit his next gear.
However with a tune spinning 6900 rpms instead of 6000 like I currently am I think I'd pull him.

Either way Sure he got the jump on me. But his 60' times arent impressive. I'm thinking in the 1/4 I should be faster than him

Srs? That's not extreme at all. Just have to have a good tune.

Hell, my bone stock 4.8 is set to spin to 6100. After cam and shit happens it'll be set to a minimum of 6500.
 
yea its gonna spin minimum of 6800. Most of us around here with 4.8/5.3 spin to that if the cam makes power to there.
Peyton spun his 22x,xxx mile 4.8 6900 rpms.

If it blows it blows ill motor swap it, 5.3 short blocks are easy to get around here.
