Electric paddle switches with no air tank just wired to the compressor. Does anybody know anyting about that? How well it works? Any videos? Just anything
Yea looking to bag it but even tho it's a big truck I'm still limited on room and moneyI see, the switches actually have air lines run to them to release. Yeah that could work, but I feel like you're looking at an air compressor for each switch in that case.
Are you trying to bag your truck, or add helper bags?
Like I mentioned before, the only issue I see with a 2 switch setup, is the lack of control over the pressure in each individual bag. And I get that money's tight, but it's one of those things that makes me feel like you should hold off and save so you can afford something a little more traditional. I just worry that the results of a half-assed setup will just end up disappointing you. You don't even necessarily need an air tank for a "bagged" setup. I'm sure there are ways that you can "DIY" a bag setup and save money along the way.Yea looking to bag it but even tho it's a big truck I'm still limited on room and money
I'm not too half ass it or necessarily be cheap just need something simple thats not gonna take up room and cost a bunchLike I mentioned before, the only issue I see with a 2 switch setup, is the lack of control over the pressure in each individual bag. Make sure to post up how it turns out :beer:Ok so I found these thanks to chassis tech. I think I'm gonna roll with it. It's simple but I'm sure I'll end up changing it up down the road
also if you have all the bags tied to one switch, it is going to look goofy when aired up.
it will have a bunch of rake, because the front weighs more then the rear, and it will lean to the drivers side because of the driver and the gas tank weight
so it will look like you broke a drivers front spring.
been there done that. hence why my OBS has been sitting in the garage/barn for over 10 years. This is one of those threads where someone posts up looking for advice as to whether or not they should proceed with the cheap half-assed approach, and when told "no, don't half ass it, you'll run into ___________ problems." The reply is "aiight, I'mma do it anyway, and that shit won't happen to me."
I used to bash my head against the wall about it, now I just let them go and do whatever they wanna do, and ignore the advice they asked for.
