so i am hoping some of you are a bit smarter then the diesel world for suspension info

i want to swap my torsion bars too adjustable coil overs so i can eventually get a good 60' with more power.

it would also save weight.

i would like it to lower the front of the truck around 4"

if anyone knows of a kit or some company who to contact?

Get in touch with Richard aka Atomic Fabrication and Performance over on performancetrucks. Tell him what you want and he'll get you squared away. He has plenty of his 4wd coil over kits out there and they work with great results.

I haven't seen many updates on his truck lately, but the previous setup was turbo'd putting down close to 1100hp in a 4x4rcsb truck. So something he does works lol.

I talked my dad through this and got the brackets ordered from ATOMIC and his is lifted so we ordered kings. I believe he offers coilovers too? He wanted Kings specifically though.
 
I've seen the atomic fab mounts in person, I also watched FFR build Matt's mounts on his NNBS Blk 1500. They seem to work for the lighter trucks & drag crowd. ( Limit straps can help hold the front end down too)

I would really brace that upper shock mount to the frame somehow, it was never intended to carry the full weight of the front end. ( Merely a shock mount for the post type attachment)

Needs either tube brace to the frame or a crossover brace for added support. I agree it needs some strengthening.

Is that the same dude who sells them on gmfs? iirc his sn is Atomic

mine is 2wd so there is a bit more room for a coil over in there.

also as mentioned i will weld some braces on the shock support for extra measure as maybe one day i will do a wheelie.....

so i have my coil overs and a buddies coil overs and rear adjustable shocks ordered from attomic.

now my question is since i am dropping like 4-5" in the front will my ball joints be at ok angles or am i gonna have to get some other part.
 
At 4-5" you should be alright. But you can opt to flip your upper control arms for a better bj angle.

sounds dirty ....i like it.

but seriously will do that because its getting all new upper and lower ball joints cause the steering has some serious slop.
