Well, I decided to bring my build thread over here for you fgts.

Lettuce start from the beginning:

Bought from the dealer as a hold over in June of 2010, it looked like this:

The next week it got a Denali grill, bed rug, and tonneau cover:

Then it got tint, colormatched handles/mirror caps and Tahoe LTZs:

A bunch of other little things, then a RC 2" level and 295/55/20 Trail Graps:

Then a Pioneer P4300 and a back-up camera:

Which brings us to how it is currently...

Here is how it's sitting right now:

And here is what I have in my basement:

Still deciding on if I want to do GMR mounts with Fox coilovers and resi's out back or just Bilstein's. Also need to order wheels.

The end, for now.

Thanks man. I want something with some offset and a nice lip. I just think stockers would look weak on an FTS lift. Probably going to be 20x10 Predators.

Install that damn lift already.. geez

I keep looking on GMFS to see if its done yet
I'm working on it, trust me. I'm shooting to have it done by the Maine meet which is in around two months. I'm hoping to be done a lot earlier than that though, like within the next three weeks.
your taking as long as i did with my gears..oh wait i still havent put them in lol.
Lemme get dem gearz.
interwebs doesnt travel with you?

sick truck.dfw to see it lifted already

Thanks dude

:crossarms: Interwebs does travel with me, I just don't see much sense in ordering the parts until I'm going to be home for a somewhat extended time so I can get it installed. That, and I'm trying to get myself to splurge on coilovers.

im seriously considering steppng down to 33's and get 4.56's. but i think it would be too much of a hassle ill just lift it a bit to fit 20x10's later down the road

I'm kind of glad I'll be running 33s for now just for the sake of keeping SOME of my gas mileage.

Small update:

Nick on the other site (93Sierra) agreed to paint by bumper plastic. He's all through with the upper pads and sent me some pictures. Props to him for doing such good quality work.

Yeah Jordan the bumper pads look bad ass! Mine are getting painted as we speak too along with my tows. Just gotta be careful stepping them. But if I ever need to get into the bed, I'll just drop the tailgate down. Looks sweet mayne!

Thanks dude! Yours are going to look awesome, something about black painted plastics that look so sick, maybe because it's so subtle. I'm with you, these things won't be stepped on, I'll just step on the tailgate instead. Now I feel like I need to paint the rest of my plastic as well (tailgate cap, bottom of mirrors, and front valance). All in time.

Gonna look good dude, I need to have my bumper plastics redone. I would colormatch all the stuff you said except for the valance, leave that black. :imo:

Two mash wite.

Funny thing the NNBS Sierra is the only truck I don't like the valance painted on. Not really sure why.
