I dropped off my truck on Dec 15, 2015 and picked it up yesterday. This was after I was rear-ended on Dec 4, 2015. I decided, for me at least, that subrogation would be easier for me so I wouldn't have to deal with the other parties insurance.
My insurance coughed up about $4300 to repair the damage caused by the wreck. Since it was going to be at the body shop anyway, I asked them how much they would charge to paint the other 3/4 of the truck. This is including, fixing all dings/dents/scratches/etc, demolding, depinstripping, debadging. I was quoted $2995.
All I can say is that they did some fantastic work. The paint is butter smooth and I can't find a trace of any imperfections anywhere.
I'll try and get some more pics, this one doesn't do it justice.
