4.8 nnbs silverado heads

So I'm looking for some heads to get ported and polished and swap out when i do a cam and was wondering what heads would be the best! I've heard z06, ls2, ls3, ls6. I don't want to do any piston work tho. What would be my best bet??

You have some really good heads already assuming u have 799s? They are pretty much the same as 243 heads which came on LS2, and LS6 motors. LS3 heads are square port so you'll need a different intake. Not the best for a truck imo. If u have 799s, clean them up, mill them for higher compression, and pnp if u want.
