Well I finally got a replacement for the Tahoe, and I am extremely happy. I loved my 2002 Dodge back in the day and after seeing/talking to Austin about his Ram I made the jump. Bought it from the same guy I got my last Ram from (company truck and close family friend).

It is a 2011 Ram Sport Crew 2wd with 145k miles on it. 5.7L Hemi with the 5 speed transmission. Plans are tint, debadge, and either 2/4 drop or 2" leveling kit. After that it will be drive it and tinker with it when I get extra money (exhaust, tune, and small system).

I got a great deal on it, and I believe it will be a great truck for me. It needs some TLC and a detail something terrible. Pictures make it look a little better than it truly is. Well here are to the pictures:

The rough:

Not sure about a console shifter in a truck but otherwise I like. They screw me up in anything but a car, every time I get in the cabovers at work I turn on the wipers.

Those hemi's are fast, there's one I used to see everyday on my high school commute, never could keep up.

Shit is hilarious to me because today taking the oldest to school I tried to put it in park on the column and shift out of park on the column . Definitely going to be an adjustment.

I forgot about this thread...not much to update but here it goes. I still haven't detailed it, and am just driving it.

So far I have a set of BBK headers (shortys) sitting at the house and all the gaskets and grade 8 bolts. I removed the toolbox and plan to eventually get a tonneau cover for it. Got an Intune with a Jay Greene tune and it really woke this truck up, and got the leveling kit installed.

Only mod in the picture that changed is that the leveling kit has been installed. Hopefully this week the windows will be tinted. Between wife taking new job, selling her Suburban to buy her a fuel efficient ride, and working on buying a new house I have been swamped. Hopefully mods will roll in shortly after house is bought.

Well haven't updated in awhile. Got tint done, and am thinking I want to go with a 2/4 drop. I ordered the drop and just have to figure out shocks and such. I also finally gave the truck a much needed bath.

First pic is yesterday after it was cleaned.

Last pics are the plan for it.

Well I finally got everything ordered and ended up putting a McGaughys 2/4 with helpers on my truck. I love how it rides and love the stance. In some of the pictures there is no air in the helpers so it looks a little low in the rear. I am still trying to figure out how much air I want to keep in the helpers and such.

what happened to the side of that back door?
That has been there since I bought the truck. Previous owners grandson ran into it with his 4 wheeler handle bar on the 3rd day he owned it. It has never really bothered me, but once I get new wheels for the truck I am going to get a PDR guy to look at it and then go from there.

Lucky it didn't scratch it, a kid on a bike ran into the drivers door on my 04 when it was parked on the road and put a pair of 10" long scratches through the paint where his handle bar ave brake lever drug down it.

How do you like that platform in the market for a new truck and these are a dime a dozen

I absolutely love the truck. I personally would only change 2 things about the truck...the color...and I would buy a 2014+ in order to get the 8 speed. 2014+ 8 speed Hemi is PERFECT imo. PM me with any questions. I try to convince anyone I know looking to give RAM a serious thought.
