This will be a very minimal "build" and will be SLOW, basically some audio and maybe making it look nice.
So year I decided I wanted a work car, well had a very used Impala pop up locally. Pretty much fit my requirements of working heat and air and ran good, so I scooped it up for $1800. Its a 2004 Impala LS 234,000 miles but has a 3.8 so still runs like a champ and being an LS its fully loaded other than supercharger. Had to put a hub on it $90 for a Timken then an O2 sensor went out a few weeks later that was another $80, still at that point into it less than 2K so I was still happy. It does have some rust basically all surface other than the fuel door and there are dents and paint issues all over it, when I have 1/4 million miles I probably wont look the best either .

Heres it is

Then a guy side swiped it, had 2 body shops estimate $1100 in damage, settled for $500. I put a $25 mirror from ebay on it and pocketed the $475 knocked a couple of the dents out looks just as crappy as before :success:

Then I decide to start throwing in my stereo stuff that was collecting dust in my garage and whatever I could get deals on.
My stereo parts consist of Pioneer AVIC 940BT headunit, Focal 165 A1 6.5" components in the front doors, Polk Audio 691 6x9s in the rear deck, Rockford Fosgate Punch 75 25 to Life 2 channel amp bridged running a Kicker Comp R dual 2ohm 12.

I made a video of the stereo, its not loud but sounds good the distortion in the video is just from the camera.

Only thing I really have a pic of is the Polk 6x9s I just got from J.mo, pretty sweet looking speaker and sound great even just off the factory amp for now.

Im going to out in my MTX 4244 4 channel amp in it. I would like to get a bigger sub amp, another kicker like I have and build a ported box for them, big 3, maybe some day a bigger alt and sound deadening is a must already.

I got it in july and have only washed it once because I couldn't see out the side windows anymore, hell I cleaned it out for the 1st time since I got it.

little picless update
Melted the old fuse and holder to the fender and was close to burning car down(not a big loss but the HU is hard to get out so that would have sucked), got a new holder good to bump again. Backed into it with my lawn mower proceeded to put massive dent in fender(pulled it today). Smoked the curb next to my driveway with the subframe and the right front fender is now pushed back and the molding is coming off. Had something come apart in the Comp R so that's getting sent in for warranty but no bass wasn't happening so I got a pair of Type S dual 4 ohm 12s so much louder and sounds way better than the Kicker. I'll have to get a few pics of recent issues/damage and maybe even a flex video.

:notbad: for a while I've been kicking around the idea of sticker bombing the spoiler and mirrors(since they don't match anyway) and the wood grain stuff inside. I've even thought about maybe making it look half ass decent, just don't know if a $1500 car is really worth it but then the stupid thing will sit for 2 weeks and crack off with just hitting the key.

I wouldn't touch the damn thing. Just drive it and enjoy having a throw away car you don't have to worry about lol
