I've decided to throw my build in here. I bought a 2001 GMC Sierra RCSB. This is going to be a slow build, until I finish school and can do more things.
I have changed it up some since the beginning. I started off with tint, clears, and then decided to lower it. I went with 275/40r20.
I ordered a 5/8 drop, but unfortunately I ordered for a crew cab so the front didn't sit as low as I wanted. All of the lowering, cutting, and fabrication were done by Brett Ross.
Also bought the bumper from his old truck.
I then ordered the correct 3" springs for the front and went back to put it down like I planned. While I was there a bought the HD hood as well. We got the suspension on, minitubbed the front, and added rear shock extenders as well.
Much better now that it's even all the way around. The shock extenders made a big difference on how it rides.
Next thing I plan to do is paint the front end to match the truck and then get 22" reps.
