Hey guys So Ive got a 1933 Chevy pick up... i guess i will start with the story behind it....

1936 - Great grandfather bought it new as a left over
1940 - Great grandfather traded it for a coupe
1940 + 1 day - Guy returned it because it didnt go fast enough
195? - Grandfather put on of the FIRST hydraulic plows on it.
A few years after the cab caught on fire. entire interior was burned, it was rebuilt... mostly....
1960-72 - Grandfather used it for dump runs and local parades
1987 - after sitting for 15 years my dad decided to get it going again. he replaced the original frozen 6 cyl 33' engine with a 34' 208 6 cyl i think... ill double check and edit as i get info back
1988 - he got it running but fried the starter... it sat in my grandfathers barn until 2001 when it was shipped to my house... 2011 - I pulled it out and im slowly rebuilding it and heres what ive done...

Turns out the starter i put together was the one for the 33' engine and does not work with the fly wheel from the 34' however. we have the 33' flywheel, clutch, etc. so i am currently in the process of swapping those... no pics unfortunately

So the engine was froze so i took just about all of it apart, again, no pics i was in the zone...
We got it so its not froze anymore and how it sits right now is the engine is apart in my garage, the transmission is 3/4 of the way out, however, the brake system is preventing it from completely dropping out so next on the list is putting the engine back together and dropping the brake system.

Hope you all enjoy this and i hope i get to finish it soon!

where's the Lincoln?

but in srs, awesome truck! Plans for it? slammed on....? 22's? 4's? Lift on 37's?

Im not 100% sure yet, ive thought about doing both... i think i might just keep it how it is until everything is in order, engine, trans, body etc, then decide. i have a pic of what i realllllly want to do to it somewhere....
